Diana Guerrero
Operations Director
Diana Guerrero is The Collaborative’s Operations Director. She is an operations and social impact leader with experience across civil society and philanthropy. Her expertise in systems thinking, strategic problem solving, and organisational development helps to improve effectiveness, streamline operations, and unlock the organisation’s full potential.
Before joining The Collaborative, Diana was the Associate Director of Program Operations at EMpower, a global philanthropic organisation dedicated to empowering young people through education, economic opportunity, and health equity. She designed and implemented end-to-end operational systems, drove efficiencies across team structures and workflows, and stewarded programme budgets to maximise impact. She also championed inclusive organisational culture through strategic hiring, mentorship, and external learning partnerships.
Prior to her time at EMpower, Diana worked with Open Society Foundations in London and Barcelona where she held roles including Senior Programme Operations Officer for the Economic Justice Programme and Programme Operations Specialist for the Open Society Initiative for Europe. Operating at the intersection of leadership, finance, programmes, and legal affairs, she developed processes and frameworks, led budget planning and financial monitoring, and delivered training on operational best practices and grantmaking standards, building a reputation as a trusted cross-functional partner.
